Week One!!!

Mariposa Kids Afterschool has begun!  It's been a fast, but fun week of  getting to know all the students and Mariposa routines.  Be sure to check the blog often for regular updates and photos of your kids in action.  Here are some shots from week one...

Red Group circle with Paola playing a get to know you game called "Animal Kingdom." Ayla in the center is keeping her eyes closed and spinning while the group dances around in the opposite direction.  When Paola says stop, Ayla will point to one student and ask them to make an animal sound. She then has to guess who they are based on the sound of the animal call. Try it at your next get together.  It's hilarious to watch!

Yes, I'm having fun too!  Be sure to read the info posted on the bulletin board and to save my phone number.
